Coffee is the most consumed drink in the word. Coffee is made from Coffee Beans. Making a cup of good coffee At Home is really an art, but a simple art in which anyone can become proficient. Five Basic Things you should know while making coffee at home.

1. Measure both Coffee and Water Accurately:

It is important to use the same exact proportions every time coffee is made to be sure it will always taste the same.

2. Time:


Coffee should be in contact with water for a definite length of time, depending on the type and capacity of the coffeemaker, as well as the strength of beverage desired. After the correct timing has
been determined, stick to it; otherwise results will not be uniform.



3. Keep the Coffee Maker Clean:



A clean coffee pot is essential for the making of good coffee at home. Coffee oils have a tendency to cling to the inner surfaces of utensils and eventually impart an undesirable flavour to the coffee brew. Complete instructions for cleaning coffeepots are given on Page 20.

4. Never Boil Coffee Never Over heat:


This drives off the aromatic substances from the coffee and is detrimental to the quality of the beverage. Coffee can be brought to boil but should not be allowed to continue boiling.


5. Serve As Soon As Possible:


Cool coffee cannot be reheated without injuring its flavor. If it is necessary to let coffee stand for any
length of time, the desired temperature can be maintained by placing the utensil in a pan of hot water, putting it on an asbestos plate over a very low flame, or just moving it to the back of the stove where it will keep hot without the temperature being raised.
